Images, Video & Rich Media
Luxe supports images, video and 3D models.
Media settings
To edit your Media corner radius, go to Theme > Settings > Media. The setting will affect images and videos throughout your store.
Other media settings can be found within the specific sections where media is being placed, such as Product Cards, Collection Cards, or sections such as Collections and Product information.
Aspect ratio
In various sections of the theme, you have a choice of image or video aspect ratio. This allows you to create a uniform design whilst not cropping your assets in unwanted ways.
Image guidelines
To ensure your images look sharp, upload them at the correct resolution. For best results, product images should be at least 2800px wide and saved at 72dpi in either PNG or JPG file format.
Image focal points
Luxe has built-in support for Shopify’s image focal point feature. This clever Shopify feature lets you set the focal point of your image to have greater control over image cropping. For example, if the main detail of a photo contains a person on the right side of an image, you can set the focal point on the person to ensure the left side of the image gets cropped and the person remains in view.
To set a focal point on any image, click “Edit” on the image. The focal point feature is usually available in the modal view of the image details.
Video guidelines
Videos must be in mp4 format and as a general rule at least 2100px wide. We recommend optimizing your video files to reduce the file size as best as possible prior to upload.

- Product media gallery (also supports use of external videos from YouTube or Vimeo)
3D model guidelines
Luxe supports use of 3D models on the product page. 3D models are virtual representations of an object or surface in three dimensions. They let you view the object from any angle. You can get 3D models of products or create your own by using 3D modelling software. 3D models can help merchants tell a story about their product and lets customers see a product in action or visualize it in their own space.
