Slideshow

Slideshows are useful for presenting multiple images and/or content within one space.

Slideshow type

The Slideshow has two main type options:

  • Multi message: Each slide has an image and text content which changes together
  • Single message: The text content remains the same whilst the background images change

Depending which type of slideshow you require will dictate how you build and edit the slideshow. If you choose ‘Multi message’, any heading, text or buttons set within the main section settings will be ignored.

Other settings

Slideshow height Choose from ‘Full screen’ (section will re-size to the screen height), large, medium or small.
Animation settings Here you can set the transition type (fade or slide), transition speed, arrows on/off, autoplay on/off.
Text If using ‘Single message’ slideshow type, input your required heading, text and buttons.

You can also choose the text position, text alignment and text size.

Note: If text alignment is set to left or right, the navigation arrows automatically move to the bottom of the slideshow to avoid obstructing the text.
Buttons You can add text and links for up to two buttons, and set the button style (solid, outline or link).
Color scheme Choose the foreground and background color scheme, as well as the button color scheme.
Overlay darkness Applies a dark overlay over the image/s to improve contrast against text, if required. You can set the darkness from 0-50%.

Add an image slide

By default the slideshow has 3 blank slides inserted. To add a slide, click the “Add slide” button.

Edit an image slide

To edit a slide, click into it within the sidebar menu. You can then add an image, heading, text and button. All content is optional - if you simple want an image slideshow with no text just leave the text fields blank.

Remove an image slide

To remove any slide, hover over it in the sidebar menu and click the delete icon. You can also hide slides which removes the slide from the live website but keeps it within the editor (useful if you want to keep the slide content for possible future use)

Re-order image slides

To re-order slides, click and drag them within the sidebar menu.
